I was happy to find these holdbacks that pretty much matched my drapery rod ball. I wanted to use them to keep my curtains from being sucked out the window whenever I have the window open. Putting them in was very easy. Only took about 15 mins to do so. All parts and pieces were there in the package. Knob ends were free from scratches and marks. They screwed in well to the holdback rod. They look great with my curtain rod and drapes.The only con is that they are smaller than I thought they would be. I wish they could have been made a bit longer, but, all and all, they do what they are designed to do and they look good doing it.
