My dog is a 60 lb Pitbull mix so he has a very strong neck. Walking her, I used the collar before I was afraid she would pull me if she saw another dot - as she often did, and I needed the control that the collar offered. I was very wary of this soft leash as I felt I didn't have enough control when I needed it. But this line is different. It's attached to her nose and the back of her head, just her head, not her neck, where all her strength is. A leash is also fastened around the nose and mouth, which also limits barking. They can still eat and drink, only barking is restricted. The control is done by turning the head away from the nose area, a whole different type of control that I honestly didn't think would work, but it proves me wrong. We have nicer walks as I don't feel her pulling me because when she tries it is very uncomfortable in her nose/head area so she knows to stay with me and not against me. Walks seem definitely more pleasant.
