I ordered this tool as a last ditch effort - if this didn't work we would have had to buy a new toilet! I accidentally flushed a toothbrush down the toilet along with a bucket of water. The thing was stuck on a straight stretch, between two curves, and there was no removing it! We pulled the toilet from the floor and took it outside and snaked it from the top AND bottom! There was no use.nothing.the snake was passing right by the brush. So, I ordered this tool. Honestly, I doubted it would work, but was cheaper than a TOILET. This was kind of like playing the crane game at an arcade, except I couldn't see the claw. And then I got a feel for it. And would you believe that on the fifth try I pulled the toothbrush out!?! I could not be more thrilled. I was, literally, screaming! Don't doubt this fabulous product.GENIUS!
