Easy installation? Double installation? NO! I tried to put the poles in my pockets, one person for each pole, and both of us couldn't get the RV cover. It was too hard! So I got in the camper, let the person on the ground push it towards me, I tried to pull it from the top but about 3/4 of the way over the camper the back end of the lid started to slip. on the side of the RV and it was IMPOSSIBLE to stop it. And when there is wind, he simply tears off the pillars. I never got it on my RV. Four grown men, two on a tractor and two on the ground with poles, CAN get up, but two - NO WAY! I have no idea about water resistance or durability because I can't get that at camp! Handling this monster is like handling a circus tent. Do yourself a favor and just build a carport for your RV! I finally got this thing installed in my RV, but not before it snapped in 3 places in the process. After tying it up with ribbons, I tried using the patch that came with the kit to patch 3 of the teardrops. The next morning I went out to look at it and two of the three patches fell to the ground. It's been in my RV for two weeks now and it's gotten a few new cuts. It tears like toilet paper. I did not try to put the cover on for several months after purchase as the camper was in use. Now I'm stuck with it. If this continues, it will be destroyed unusable in about a month. It's garbage! I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANY OF THEM. Update 4 months later (about 4 months I think): This suitcase has ripped on all four corners and the straps that run under the camper are attached to the main body of the suitcase. . Also, the zippers broke off about halfway down several zippers. I said it was rubbish and it continues to prove me right!
