Review on Yale Security YRD216HA2619 Button Deadbolt by Born Waheed

This is my first experience with a keyless smart lock. The installation itself was pretty easy following the instructions. However, connecting the Zigbee to some sort of smart hub wasn't easy. I connected via the xfinity home app. I restarted a few times, removed the batteries, removed the module, plugged it back in and dealt with the annoying beeps. Finally deserved. Then I found out that the connection was really just for locking and unlocking, or to see if you accidentally left it unlocked. You still need to manually program the user access codes into the lock itself. It was extremely difficult and the instructions were terrible. Incidentally, I couldn't determine "UN", which is a user number, without a decoder. I watched a few YouTube videos and finally figured it out. I also don't like the fact that you have to press a button to lock it and sometimes it doesn't actually lock. It's also very slow and noisy. I paid just under $200 which seems overpriced for the limited smart hub technology. I'd like more features to manage passcodes through the app, or just not go the smart way for basic locking. On the bright side, it looks very pretty!
