Review on ABS Like UV Curing Precision Excellent Photopolymer Additive Manufacturing Products by Jacob Richardson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far he has made excellent technical prototypes

This is a great material, I have used it with Elegoo Saturn to make full size technical prototypes. The key so far has been to use medium supports and a large number of them so that they are well attached to the part. I've also found that the result is much better if you only remove the supports in the critical/matching areas (like holes/inserts/etc) and remove those supports before UV curing. They just get away with little or no trace. If you then UV dry the part for 2 minutes in a wash/cure chamber [I used a Creality UW-02] then remove the supports completely and UV cure for another 2-4 minutes then the parts come out very well . I mainly used the default settings in Chitubox. It sticks fairly well to the sandblasted Elegoo Saturn buildplate, but not so much that it can't be torn off. The resulting parts appear to be very strong and so hold to tolerances surprisingly well - the holes were within 0.005" (slightly overdesigned in CAD) and the overall part size was within 1% of the specified value (in the linear shrinkage , which you can explain. Aside from that. You're using a lot of props! Bit smelly, but you really should use an organic evaporation mask or hood if you're spending time working with pretty much any of these resins (and gloves/goggles)! Risk it Do not injure your eyes or lungs due to lack of personal protective equipment).
