Ordered this item for yes, our garage upholstery. Unfortunately, as cars get bigger and garages smaller, we found it impractical to park our cars in the garage for fear of denting. A family member suggested getting something like this and after reading the reviews we stopped here. It is great! Thick and soft, you can open the car door quite abruptly without fear of damaging the car doors. They are a bit small so for the posts in our garage we used 2-3 posts to cover the areas we needed to cover but we could probably find bigger ones if we tried. All in all we are very happy with the purchase!
