It will weld metal parts but that's all I can say as a complement to this welding wire. I used 75/25 as indicated. can be used and the welds are gray and look the same as if you were using regular MIG solid wire. Yes, maybe the composition is better for 304 stainless steel, but that too is up in the air. Maybe using this wire with trimix will give the right result. results, but the company claims that 75/25 is the preferred gas for this wire. If you really want to get a good result from a stainless steel welder, don't waste time, buy filler or 308 wire and use the right gas mixture. I prefer TIG but wanted to see if that would be a viable option for quick welding, but no!
