Review on 🏵️ Premium Handmade Ivory Jute Accent Rug - Safavieh Natural Fiber Collection NF730A, 2'3" x 4'" by Katie Johnson

I was very surprised that I was so dissatisfied with the mat I received tonight. I have previously ordered a natural/black woven 5ft x 8ft area rug and have been very happy with this purchase so far. I have a Yorkie and despite his best efforts I had minimal unraveling of this rug. However, this rug arrived in a condition that appeared used and poorly finished. The image shown in the advert does not reflect the actual color - it is more of a red ochre/matte brick red. Although the quality of the fibers is comparable to my previously purchased rug, the appearance is very poor. I don't mean to be rude, but it looks like my dog tried to tug/unravel the carpet and "glue" unsightly areas where the fibers were burned to the fibers. looks dried up in dog poop. Delivery was delayed from the start and as I plan to put it in the hallway I might as well keep it to myself. At the very least, my fair amount of time being at home due to Covid-19 might encourage me to simply (and carefully) cut out lots and lots of burned areas and try my luck at simply tying them in a knot so that they look less messy. Not happy with this purchase to say the least. Attach photos so other customers can see what to expect.
