
I bought it because I needed a case with a hole for the GPIO connector and with heatsinks. And it looked cool. It was packed with ordered layers. I disassembled it as you need to install the RPi in it. I didn't order the shifts, which is a bit my fault, but I also didn't realize that it would be easy to mix up one shift with another. In any case, I collected according to the instructions. When I plugged in my micro HDMI cable I found that I had reversed steps 8 and 9 so my cable didn't fit in the hole so I had to remove the screws and reassemble it. Then, once I got the assembly done correctly, I found that I couldn't connect the ribbon cable (which most people with GPIO use) due to the L-bend during case assembly. So disassemble and reassemble. Overall it took about 15 minutes to assemble compared to a simpler case which would take no more than 3 minutes to assemble. The case is quite thick compared to the RPi's size, as it's really made of layers of cut sheet metal. Acrylic. This isn't a problem for me since my RPi is mostly on my desk, but this can be a disadvantage if you need something portable. Heatsinks are plentiful, as are the typical mid-range RPi heatsinks that come with cases. The CPU heatsink is larger than the CPU chip, which uses the full width of the fan for better heat distribution. The 5 volt fan is a bit noisy, but running it at 3.3 volts can still cool the RPi decently, but much quieter. I didn't expect a high quality fan for the low price of this case. You can notice from the picture I attached that the fan is not connected to the GPIO port. This is because I'm already using a ribbon cable that connects to the GPIO port, so I use two jumpers to connect it to the fan on my GPIO T-Head. I don't see that as a disadvantage as you have no other way to power the fan other than a GPIO port or a USB port. So, bottom line: This case looks cool, but it's pretty heavy to assemble and thick. Radiators and fans are average.
