VERY sad to return this product!

I have a Moulton TSR-9 gravel bike. It came with a SRAM X5 Trigger 9-speed front derailleur and a SRAM X7 rear derailleur. I cut out a piece of wood that bent the original rear derailleur and since it's no longer available I decided to look for one that might work with my rear derailleur. This item seemed to fit the bill, it fits 9, 10 and 11 gears with the maximum 32 tooth size my bike has. After confirming this with my local Trek bike shop, I ordered the item and installed it on my bike. My impressions - This is a very good switch. It is compact, well made and very accurate. It is also very aesthetic to look at. The problem I had was the shifter didn't work well with my trigger shifters. I set the top and bottom stops and it shifted very precisely within my 9 speed range without overshooting or falling under. The problem I had was that I was riding straight bars instead of bars so I couldn't use the rapid fire switches. I used trigger switches. This derailleur worked in every gear, but there were 2 or 3 gears that didn't index accurately enough that the chain wouldn't work in the next gear. No matter what I did, I couldn't type it, so unfortunately I had to delete it and send it back. I really wanted this derailleur to work and if I end up getting a bike with rapid fire derailleurs I will definitely be buying this item again. The seller approved the return very quickly and I repackaged the item in its original condition without trying it on on the street.
