off-centre installation; the holes are not symmetrical; does not match packaging diagram

Bought for a Pi based robot car project with my son. When we opened the box and looked at the instructions we were confused that the mounting holes weren't symmetrical and the part didn't match the diagram. We found that the only way to mount the Pi was off-center. I contacted support thinking we were wrong and got a generic response. Definitely not happy. I do not recommend.
