I recently replaced the lower ball joints on my '07 Silverado Classic and so far they are working fine BUT. Be prepared to spend LOTS of time removing the old ones. It was VERY, I repeat, VERY difficult and long. I'm not a mechanic, but I don't usually take my truck for parts, I do it myself. It was the hardest thing I've ever done on a vehicle. Get ready to drill out the center of the RIVET. The old ball joints are probably not bolted on so you have to spend more money to take them to the shop and they just replace the forearm. After you've drilled the rivets and reamed the hole with a larger bit, you'll need to rotate the heads of the rivets. I had to do the floors on several. Then knock out the rivets with a sledgehammer and a punch. As for the part itself, like I said, it's great and a lot cheaper than the $939 advertised for in-store manufacture. but was it worth my time? no No it was not. YouTube is your friend, if you want to do what I did, be patient and drink lots of water. Much luck.
