These are wax based pencils made in Taiwan. They smell like used oil. They are not categorized as Professional, Superior Artist, Premium, or Lightfast. They are soft, but also prickly and scaly. They lie down spotted or striped. Layering and blending is not good. Lots of pastels, repetitive colors, muddy colors, lack of different tones and colors. There are only #s on the pins except black and white, they are named. The pens themselves are really nice smooth black cylinders with colored tips that can hit or miss the primary colors. cracks around wires. Leads seem to be strong.
