I would give this product an A+ for its current performance but only an A- at best for easy install. Now the CD drive works great, but I was almost frustrated because it repeatedly failed to install on my iMac (you may have to restart your computer a few times). My advice to buyers: "Don't give up; to attempt. It's worth the potential disappointment." I've waited weeks to post this review just to make sure this product continues to provide great service. It does. Version Tech's customer support is also very attentive and responsive to their customers .Good product, good price and deal.Highly recommended if you need an external CD drive.RT 11 Apr 2018
