Sturdy construction, great balance, great weight, easy throwing and a great solution for practicing and perfecting throws and new tricks. You cannot beat the quality of this trainer for the price it is worth. I find myself playing with this thing all the time. My friends and I have dropped it many times (I'm a pinball lover, still learning) and yet it still holds up like the day I got it. My other balisong shoes have loosened a lot with significantly less use than this balisong. If you are a beginner or just want to play around with a budget pinball machine anywhere, I highly recommend this trainer! (It still LOOKS like a real knife though, so people can stare at you if you spin it in public since butterfly knives are illegal.) In fact, I just bought a "comb" version of the same machine, so I have another one with a more practical use. I haven't used a balisong in many years and this trainer has helped me pick up some old tricks and learn many new ones. When learning and practicing new tricks, this Bali is the easiest to use. It is also very easy to switch to a real balisong knife when I first learn them with this trainer. I only wish I could find this exact design in a real balisong somewhere! Don't waste your money with these all-black sneakers from Anlado and Moon Boat. They are ok but come off easily and cheap junk compared to my Vonnex.
