just what I was looking for! This has a factory look as you are replacing the entire mirror, it is NOT a "snap" like some other models which simply snap over the top of the existing mirror. I didn't have to stick the supplied metal adapter to the windshield. I just unscrewed the old mirror and put this whole block on top of the existing metal windshield mount. The dealership charged $799-$899 to add a backup camera to my 2017 Silverado. I said NO, JOSE! For about 70€ I try it out. The truck is much longer than any other vehicle I've installed cameras in. But the included yellow video cable was enough to connect the backup camera on my license plate to my fuse box where it connected to the cables coming out of the backup camera. Mirror. I really like that everything looks factory! And with an HDMI composite adapter ($20) and an Apple HDMI adapter ($45). I was able to mirror what's on my iPhone to the second input of the rear view mirror. The screen switches to the rear camera view when I put it in reverse, then goes back to what I was playing on the other input when I return to driving or parking. The whole project took several hours of work and I have some experience with this, but I will definitely be buying a few more for gifts. Big deal and I mentioned before. THE MIRROR LOOKS LIKE FACTORY! UPDATE: The rear camera has a "blurred" image after only 2 months of use. The mirror/screen itself is perfect and gets 5 stars. But since the license plate camera doesn't work, I'm giving this one a star. Average 3 stars. It's too much work to take it all apart and send it in for replacement so I'm going to buy another rear camera (Pyle PLCM17BC) and just replace that part. I had the same problem with the included metal frame camera on another car. The replacement camera (Pyle PLCM17BC) I bought to replace my last one that failed has a plastic frame and has been working for 9 months now.
