I decided to see if I could replace it with RTV. Well after about 1000 miles in the last 3000 miles the bolts loosen or start to loosen and I have to tighten them. During this time I made my two differentials as a test, one with RTV, the other with a fat cabinet. RTV stayed bolted on and no issues. I have to check the grease box every 1000 miles because if I don't I get a puddle of diff fluid on the garage floor or splatter all over my axles. I'll probably try some Loctite on the screws, but I don't have to. When it comes time to inspect my gears, or if the bolts continue to loosen, I blow the Lube Locker apart.
