I really liked this bag. I took him with 8 kids to SVI/USVI for 17 days on a sailboat. I liked the size and the material, but here's what I really liked: - The outside pocket is just the right size for your wallet and phone, you don't have to reach into it - The inside pocket is well designed and holds certain items underneath the Pocket. - Soft frame is very comfortable. I've done a few hikes with literally all that crap and it hasn't been a problem - Can be washed off if sand/sunscreen, cereal etc gets in the pocket - Two ways to close the top. When you roll it up and snap the seal on the sides, it's flat for hiking or stowing in the airplane hold. When you roll it up and buckle it up, it's a giant handle that's great for walking on the beach. Holds drinks and ice for adults in an emergency.
