Great set for anyone wanting to learn PDR with their own hands

This set is fantastic value for money. I have no experience with body work but this kit along with a youtube video helped me repair about 25 glans dents on the hood. A couple of things, the included glue gun does the job but the US power adapter doesn't fit exactly so it sometimes accidentally disconnects. I fixed it by sticking it on the device itself. Some tabs seem to work much better than others, but I think different structured minds have their own purposes and more research might be helpful. The light bar is not powered, it is just plastic and uses natural light reflection to display it on your surface. I thought it was LED powered but it still works great and considering everything else in this kit the price is worth it. Haven't used the slide hammer yet, but the pulley block is well made and pulls reliably. I recommend getting another glue, the black sticks I ordered from another seller that has a 4 1/2 star rating here on Amazon worked very well for me. My kit also included additional tools not shown in the pictures as well as a few extra tabs so that was a nice bonus. I think my set actually had around 60 pieces if I'm not mistaken. In terms of actual performance, I was definitely able to successfully repair my dents with this kit. I'm still not comfortable with retracts so I guess I'll have to watch a few more tutorial videos to find out, but this kit really works and you get MUCH MORE compared to some US vendors. at the same price. Dent Tools Direct USA has a very basic starter kit for $15 more than this kit. Whether you're an experienced bodybuilder or just want to fix your kid up with your own hands, this set is a great place to start PDR. DO YOUR RESEARCH. You can definitely do more harm than good by going into this blind. Make sure you clean your tabs and surfaces with every use, don't use the fine tip to pressure until you're proficient or you'll create micro-dimples, adding up to a whole lot of extra work. YOUTUBE IS YOUR FRIEND. Watch some videos and then draw and score!
