This splitter gave me 6 balanced outputs which means the signal level is distributed evenly to each output. The Spectrum guy originally installed two splitters in series to connect my TV/network modem, meaning the first splitter's outputs were "hotter" and the signal coming out of the second splitter was weaker. It might seem finicky, but it's best to use a splitter with enough ports for each of your devices.
