Don't listen to reviews about special connectors or the like. Get a 1/4" 4mm 12 point head and it will do the job just fine. fits like a glove and now my 20 year old starter turns like new and always starts. Don't waste your money on a new starter , as GM designed a damn good starter for these engines. The solenoid is both the contractor and the actuator. The contacts inside oxidize and also "weld" every time you start the car, eventually resulting in a bad one Connection leads If your starter sounds slow and you know you have good batteries, turn it on and save the old starter.
