Review on ZIG Mangaka Assortment Set for Cartoonists - Pack of 8 by Carrie Spencer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very nice pen set!

As a kid I was obsessed with Rapidograph pens and saved up for finer tips. They have a very large range of graduated nibs/tips which were very expensive and required careful handling and great care. If you forget to clean one of the finer tips, you may no longer be able to use it. The same applies if you press too hard and bend the pen inside the pen. This pen set is similar in many ways to an ink liner as it gives you a series of lines with sharp gradations. This would be amazing for those who require a lot of precision in their work, such as: B. an architect or artist. I read a bit about Kuretaka when I recently bought watercolors. They have been there for a long time and value quality. This is the first product of theirs that I have tried but now that I have it I think I will order their watercolor set. (Stick to the more expensive Western manufacturers I've come across). I was concerned about some of the dye based kits I received, but I know Kuretake wasn't created just for the discount craft market. They have a legacy of making great artist materials (and I don't use te4rm lightly). That's a lot for pens with a truly artistic quality.

Pros
  • Conforms to ASTM D 4236. Package dimensions 3 x 7.5 x 1.25. Import.
Cons
  • Not sure
