Good things first: The hose is long and fits the Shop-Vac without an adapter. The end is a little flat and the fit isn't tight or very secure. So I wrapped several layers of duct tape around that end and also wrapped around the part of my Shop Vac extension tube that had a hole in it to attach the tube joint; to prevent a vacuum leak. - Tools look good. I'm sure I'll use them when I wash my car. But I bought it to replace a 25 year old Shop Vac hose that was starting to fail. Now for the bad: - I don't expect this hose to last as long as the hose it replaces. It is very thin walled and has already begun to wrinkle where the vacuum has been dropped over it or accidentally stepped on. Although the fittings on my 25 year old hose are cracked to the point of being unusable, the hose itself is in perfect condition. This hose is already looking worn after fairly careful maintenance. I thought I got a good discount on the length of hose I needed. I believe it was cheaper than similar length tubing from other sources. The name Craftsman made me expect a high basic quality. I'm surprised something with the name "Master" is so flimsy, but every brand has a heyday and then sometimes a decline. In the future I will be more careful about everything I buy from them.
