I've always had trouble peeling hard boiled eggs. The white part always sticks to the pieces of shell and I end up with a twisted egg. I've tried so many methods - vinegar, baking soda, boiling with eggs in a saucepan, adding after the water boils, ice baths, pins, whatever. I don't know what the magic is, but if you follow the instructions carefully, you get perfect, easy-to-peel eggs every time. It's also smaller than it appears in the photos (which I think is a good thing!) and it's a pretty cute little gadget. So glad I got this.
