The quality of the wood was fairly good upon receiving them. As advertised, they are individually sealed in air tight wrap.I ordered three packs of these wood slices and all the slices I received were about 8.5”, nothing even close to 10”. This was quite disappointing. Maybe this was a one off and I just had some small batches? But all three packs under 9”? Bummer.None of the slices were cracking while they were sealed, but after about a few days of being exposed to air and humidity (Hawaii), a few of them have started to crack. So do not open them from the air tight seal until you are ready to use, and don’t expect them to retain their quality after exposure to air/moisture.In the end, it held up for what I needed them for, although a bit too small. It was also expensive for the size of the pieces.
