Increase port count on new laptops

works fine for me. I wanted to use it for my laptop. My monitor cannot be recognized by my laptop when connected to the hub's HDMI port. I found that it works when the hub is connected to my smartphone. It could be the USB port on my laptop that doesn't support video. The remaining ports work perfectly. I would like more space between the USB 3 ports.
