Boots shared within 1 year of installation. This work is so tedious that it's just stupid to do it twice, but I only had to do it because the stupid piece of rubber didn't hold together. Rather than buying expensive "quality" parts, I replaced them with the cheapest ball joints I could find and my local "Irish" parts store, and have been happy so far. The spares have a much more flexible shoe that seems better suited to this application. This job gives me such a headache, you know what, I don't want any guarantees. I want things to just work.
