Review on WALLOP Damascus Chefs Knife - 8.5 Inch Japanese Steel Blade With Solar Pattern And Ergonomic G10 Handle For Professional Kitchen Use by John Cox

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Super sharp and thin blade with sturdy handle

This fancy kitchen knife is impressive. The blade is very thin but so sharp. The handle is very heavy and strong. It has most of the weight which makes it feel secure in your hand and ergonomic. Because the blade is so thin it isn't meant for heavy duty cutting such a bones or tough meats. More like vegetables. It took me a short period getting used to the weight of the handle since the blade itself is so much lighter. I'm used to cutting with knives that are more evenly balanced. A solid, well made knife.

Pros
  • Really nice! One of my fav knifes in the kitchen!
Cons
  • The G10 handle might not provide a firm grip with wet or greasy hands
