Possibly used/water damage?
The item was delivered a few minutes ago. I opened it up to plug it into my chimney but I noticed a white deposit on it. Looks used or possibly flooded at some point. The device came in a sealed bag, I don't see any water in it. So no damage would have been done before it was put in the bag. I haven't plugged it in either as I'm still looking around to see if I'm willing to take the risk. Stay on both sides (front and back). So far I'm very disappointed. I will update this if I decide to keep it and it works. I will also try to contact the seller for an answer.
