Bought these to replace old rusty springs on an old Suzuki GS750. It took me about 10 minutes to swap out the springs. I agree with some of the previous reviews about putting a little lube on the threads in the past. smooth it out I used an impact wrench and a 3/8 inch extension. Worked great. As with all spring compressors, do not compress the spring unevenly, just a little on each side, just enough to remove the stop plates etc, and most importantly, DO NOT place your fingers where they could get pinched.
