Review on Excel Blades Chisel American Replacement Crafting by Sasha Hsiao

I bought these to replace the original straight cross section chisel blades that came with the X-Acto set. With these blades I scrape the seal off the glass wall of the shower stall. The original X-Acto blades were narrower (the width of the blade is the same as the shank that goes into the hilt). They are a bit wider, but I see this as a disadvantage because the blade bends too much at the connection between the blade and the tang. Perhaps the narrower shank is too weak for the extra leverage the wider blade provides. I find it too flexible to be a true chisel blade. Otherwise they came ready to do their job.
