Not as good as Xacto

I have 5 backs for my model and broke 3 of them in less than 2 weeks. They don't last like Xacto, I have a version of Xacto that I've been using for over a year and it's still not broken! It may be 1/2 the cost of the Xacto version, but they will cost you more in the long run depending on how often you replace them!

Very sharp, well-made blades.

Blades arrived on time, incredibly sharp. They come in a handy plastic tube with a little red cap. But the tubing is flexible so they can easily cut themselves so be careful. I use them every day to cut heavy aviation adhesives and rubber/plastic gasket like materials. So far they are holding up very well. Very good Excel brand selection here and I would buy again.

Excellent quality, far superior to current X-acto blades

I had several old X-acto blades (probably 20-30 years old when they were still made in the USA) to compare, plus blades X- acto is currently in production. They are actually slightly heavier than the old blades, which of course are much heavier than the ones currently being produced. They are very durable and seem to be holding up well. Would definitely buy again. They're noticeably thicker than the Chinese-made X-acto blades, so keep that in mind if that's an issue for your project.

Excessive curves at base of blade

I bought these to replace the original straight cross section chisel blades that came with the X-Acto set. With these blades I scrape the seal off the glass wall of the shower stall. The original X-Acto blades were narrower (the width of the blade is the same as the shank that goes into the hilt). They are a bit wider, but I see this as a disadvantage because the blade bends too much at the connection between the blade and the tang. Perhaps the narrower shank is too weak for the extra leverage…

Let me tell you how HOT they are.

These blades are awesome! I didn't realize how dull my blade was until I bought these replacement parts. Now I can cut through anything, even the fabric of space and time. The story, how I discovered it, is not important. Suffice it to say that in the year 2087 your robotic overlords will be defeated. So there is at least something to look forward to. All of this probably explains why Revane used such overpackaging for two tiny packs of blades. I figured a soft case would do, but obviously they
