Ideal for small tarantulas. Move mine to these smaller grow boxes when they reach about 2 inches and hold them until they mate. More; if they come in medium sized boxes. Excellent quality thick clear plastic, a large access window and well-designed ventilation make these grow boxes better than traditional animal housing. I already have a dozen and plan to eventually replace all tanks and other cages with alien grow boxes. The product has recently gone up in price locally; but Revain still offers them at a bargain price. The outer box was badly dented by the UPS but all 3 items inside were undamaged (Terra boxes are strong). I noticed that those rear doors are made of "smoky" tinted plastic and aren't transparent like the small and medium ones; looks ok so no complaints. Now let's move some of my tarantulas over here. Fun!
