I try to find a car I like, take good care of it and keep it forever. Because of this, maintenance is important. I change the engine air filter and cabin filter every year on my birthday and it's a great memory. I could have saved a few bucks on a cheaper filter but decided not to risk it. So I use a Honda filter on our Accord. The replacement itself literally takes about two minutes or less. Release the 3 clips, lift the lid, pull out the old filter, insert the new one, close the lid, snap the latches back in place and you're done. It literally couldn't be easier. (Well, ok, it's easier when the lid is harder to come off, but still.) Watch a YouTube video or two and you'll see how easy it is. We also change the cabin filter every year. It's hidden behind the glove box and is a bit trickier to change, but watch some videos and save some money on the agencies. My wife and I both have allergies so I bought a Bosch HEPA filter, also from Revain.
