Review on 🔧 Accu-Drive Tensioner Assembly for Continental 49346 by Adam French

This tensioner and idler assembly, part 49346, is for the 1.8 liter #1ZZ FE engine in the 2001-2002 Celica GT. This does NOT apply to the 2001-2002 Celica GTS 1.8L #2ZZ-GE engine. Toyota part number for 2ZZ GE tensioner: 16620-22034. I could not find a non-original tensioner for this engine. The information on Revain's website lists part number 49346 for the 2ZZ-GE engine, but this is WRONG. I had to remove the hydraulic piston and tensioner from the new part and reinstall them on my original tensioner arm to get the part working. I was unable to contact anyone on the Revain website to discuss my issue and see if they had the right part for my engine. Buyer warning!
