Review on ๐ŸŒฐ ELMERS 3.25 Oz Walnut Professional Wood Filler (E812Q) by Timothy Wall

walnut filler! Exactly what I was looking for

I've had a couple of squirrels gnawing at the deck rail so I wanted a wooden spatula to match my deck so I could cover the damage until I fixed it can properly repair in the spring. This was very easy to work with. Some people complain that they can't get it out of the container. You just have to cut off enough of the tip to allow it to flow freely. I don't see that as a problem at all. The color matched perfectly with the reddish brown of our spot on the deck. I used a wood hardener and after it dried I filled in the damaged area. I wasn't working in ideal conditions as it's winter now. The other day the temp was up to 40 so I figured it would be the best chance I could get. The wood was dry so the timing was right. It was very easy to work with him. I have used similar products before but without color. It worked the same way. You need to fill up a little, let it dry and then add another layer. For a small hole you can do it in one step. In my case, the squirrels left a gaping hole, so I did my best. I doubt this is the definitive solution, but in the spring I may be able to remove some of these and re-fill, sand and paint. For my purposes, Elmer's Probond worked well. I hope the squirrels find something else to chew on! Thank you for reading my review, Becky Brooks.
