does the job. A complaint.

Good for touching up small wood imperfections or covering small open areas at joints. My only complaint is that it can be difficult to squeeze the product out once opened. Eventually (a few weeks) after opening the package, I found that I actually had to squeeze myself hard to get the product out. Actually I use a small clamp to help.

Pros
  • Easy to clean with water, solvent-free
Cons
  • Thin

You need it! Best in Fittings

I bought a couple of tubes of this putty, dark walnut and natural. I've used the wooden spatula from those little tubs and it worked well, but recapping those little tubs didn't always work well, sometimes leaving you with dried stone on the second or third use. These tubes fix everything! Plus, you can place a fill bead where you need it instead of having to apply it to one piece and smear it all over, making a mess. I no longer buy fountain pens if they don't come in a handy tube!

Pros
  • Paintable and recoatable
Cons
  • Safety

?Bad batch good for wood spatula

I used to buy this product from a retail store but can no longer find it locally. Then it was great. Bought two of these from Revain and both turned out to be quite watery at first, although I gave the tubes a good kneading before opening. It felt like I was losing most of the pipes in the form of water. When the putty finally arrived, it was workable at first, but became unusable due to its hardness. The product appeared to separate and only a fraction (~ half) was usable. Not sure if this isโ€ฆ

Pros
  • This is a common aftermarket part
Cons
  • So far so good

walnut filler! Exactly what I was looking for

I've had a couple of squirrels gnawing at the deck rail so I wanted a wooden spatula to match my deck so I could cover the damage until I fixed it can properly repair in the spring. This was very easy to work with. Some people complain that they can't get it out of the container. You just have to cut off enough of the tip to allow it to flow freely. I don't see that as a problem at all. The color matched perfectly with the reddish brown of our spot on the deck. I used a wood hardener and afterโ€ฆ

Pros
