I bought this toaster instead of a four slice toaster and have been very happy with it. It takes up half the space of the other and is very attractive. I've found I've never cooked more than two slices of toast at a time, and that fits the bill. Its slots are wide enough for toasting bagels and its crumb tray is easily accessible and easy to keep clean. The controls allow you to choose from lightly toasted to roasted to crispy. The heat pad is new to me and I haven't really used it, but as a toaster it's top notch.
