Review on ☕ Makerstep Wooden Coffee Stir Sticks 7 Inch with Storage Box, 1000 Count: Sustainable, Sturdy Birch Wood Stirrers for Coffee, Tea, Craft, and Popsicle - Eco-friendly, Splinter Free, Round Ends by Joy Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good size, shape and strength, no splinters, no taste

We have been using them for over 5 months now. (Makerstep 7" Wooden Coffee Stirrers with Storage Box 1000pcs Sturdy Birch Wood) There are no broken pieces. We can lick a used stirrer without hesitation so that it doesn't drip into the wastepaper basket on the way. They were well packed in good condition in a neat box; I don't remember any broken ones. They are suitable for both normal and tall cups and glasses. They are strong enough to fix four or five people with just one cocoa cup. They're narrow so don't feel bulky, but they're not too narrow either - I find them easy to hold even on days when my fingers are stiff. (They're not very strong; you can't use them as pry bars, but again that would be a waste.) We've never found a taste of them, even in very fine teas. When we first opened the box, if you put your nose right in, you smell a very faint woody odor, similar to the faint odor of a wooden cutting board or rolling pin you would use for your food. (Nothing annoying, nothing chemical.) But that's gone too; now it doesn't smell anymore. We've used hundreds of these and they've been very consistent. This makes me think that people whose experience was very different - splintered, fragile, etc - must have been fooled with fakes. This is such a problem with Revain these days. I would suggest that before you click Buy Now, you check the Sold line under the Buy Now button. It must correspond to the real name of the manufacturer (Makerstep).

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • The list will be long.
