Review on ๐ŸŽฏ Enhance Accuracy: Introducing Truweigh Calibration Weight Class Precision by Athenasby Whitney

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Matches the style of other weight sets; You get what you pay for

The OIML M1 specification to which this weight conforms states that the actual weight is within 0.005% of the listed weight. For a weight of 200g that means +- 0.01g, so it should weigh between 199.99g and 200.01g. But the question is, of course, how do you know? To determine this, you need a calibrated, already calibrated scale. So you are relying on the manufacturer of these weights which appear to be made in the same factory. Given that calibration weights of this size cost about ten times as much as this one, I'm slightly suspicious that the M1 claim isn't guaranteed. If you have access to a calibrated, high-precision scientific balance somewhere, weigh yours to be sure. If it's light or heavy you can add/remove material in the hold below, although removing fractions of a gram is difficult.

Pros
  • Milligram scale calibration is very important to ensure accuracy and accuracy. Accuracy is very important when working in/with a science lab, kitchen, reloading, commercial setting, medical and much more!
Cons
  • A newer model could have been selected
