I tow a truck behind my motorhome.This connection kit seems a perfect replacement for my existing wire but is in addition a pre-coiled wire which will prevent the dragging problem that has occurred with the existing wire when my latches come lose. Old connector cable also was starting to show sun-damage from its long use.This wire is coiled like my steel cables and brake connections and should easily keep itself above ground.Very solid construction in connection to connectors/plugs. A great upgrade/replacement.The included brackets are a nice add-on since one of my existing brackets had been bent from a little "incident" with big rock. :-)Like my old connector cable, it has easy-grip connectors at both ends making it easier to pull apart when you need to.Seems great quality so far.
