I used this hitch to tow my Jeep Cherokee 1400 miles. It worked, but it's not perfect. A few facts about it: 1. This is a universal mount, so you need to make some mounts or extra supports. You may need to drill some holes in your car to attach the mounting brackets. I had to spend nearly $50 on steel to reinforce the frame at the mount joints. The instructions call for 1/2"x2" steel to reinforce the attachment point.2. I don't like three-component hands. I'm sure Reese does this to keep the box small for shipping, but the long arms are 3 pieces with an inner sleeve and 4 screws holding the long pieces together. It worked for my ride but it's not a very strong connection, there is some movement even with the bolts tightened. But it didn't let up during my 1400 mile journey.3. It worked for my one trip but if I was going to be using it to frequently tow the same car behind say a camper van I would have gone for a more expensive and reliable kit.
