Our dog chewed up the original remote so I puchased this one which turned out to be exactly the same. He stopped working less than two months later. I tried changing the batteries but to no avail. Bought another remote and it works fine. Not an expensive thing, but it's disappointing when it's not easy to operate these smart TVs without a remote control. I did some research and also downloaded the remote control to my phone.
