This is a really great tool contrary to some other reviews. YES the markings on the handles are metric but nothing says otherwise. I used a tape measure to measure the diameters and made sure everything was tight (I don't know how many holes I drilled today, but everything was very easy and very quick (I mean literally, in seconds). Variable speed at 20 volts (preferably, punch will do didn't) and went to town. For the drywall, I pre-drilled with a 3/16 bit and then used a tool with a chisel in it. It worked like a charm. I checked after every hole, or every other hole, for leaks in the Quality your precautions I'm sure we do d weaker if you don't. Make sure the drill is in the lowest position to move and begin a SLOW scoring process, staying as even as possible. After I hit, I increased the speed and in a second or two the pit was done. I'd say yes it would be for an advanced wizard as it's not the easiest tool anyone could use. I advise extreme caution as parts can fly off if not gripped firmly and you are unaware of the dangers involved unless you stay straight or try to go too fast. The tool gets the job done efficiently and accurately. I'm very happy to have it in my arsenal of tools.
