I was impressed with the quality of this collar compared to other brand butterfly collars that I have also purchased from Revain. I have never used any other collar because the faux leather looked so brittle and brittle that I was sure it would snap once the new puppy was pulled on the leash. The bow tie on this one was attached with a cheap curved safety pin that could easily pierce my pup if it came loose. In contrast, the Lionet Paws collar is made of durable fabric that seems to last a long time. The bow tie attaches securely with elastic straps so you can attach it to any other similar sized collar if you wish. I had to deduct a star because the clasp slipped. Many times throughout the day I have to pin a page. The latch has never failed completely and when I pull on it when the latch is partially disengaged it doesn't look like it will fail but it still makes me nervous and shouldn't happen. Still a crazy pup, my dog is pretty good on a leash and doesn't pull all the time but he's still growing and getting stronger so I don't know how well he will hold up in the future.
