I had previously purchased a regular lace fabric screen door to install where I have to keep the door open 24/7 so the dogs can let themselves out to play and relieve themselves since we don't have a doggy door. However, it has been torn up and ripped off from carrying huge loads of laundry outside to hang and the dogs (and I) playing and "hiding" behind the screen, taunting each other to chase.Purchased this as an upgrade and boy was it worth it. It came with both tacks and velcro, but from my past experience with the tacks I went with the adhesive backed velcro, which was aggressively tacky (my skin kept sticking to it).I cleaned the area with a wet paper towel, waited for it to dry and stuck it on and it was extremely hard to remove. It actually tore off a bit of the semi-gloss paint.My area has mosquitoes, multiple types of flies (some are horrifying massive), spiders, etc etc. Your common pests. This has successfully kept them all out.Highly recommended if you have pets that play a lot and are rambunctious. Judging from the quality, I won't have to buy a new screen door for a few more years unless a tornado rips it off.The photos attached are my old screen door (finer lace mesh) vs this one (new woven fiberglass) along with one of my dogs.
