I had to download an archived driver from 2007 before Prolific added anti-piracy measures to the driver to prevent counterfeit chipsets from working with their drivers. THIS CABLE WORKS - BUT ONLY AFTER A WOOD WORKAROUND WHICH SHOULD NOT BE REQUIRED. Thanks to the Chinese brand, the names are almost always fake and fakes are real. I've also received fake Sandisk cards through the Amazon supply chain, so I shouldn't be too shocked.
