Wanted to like it but left dirt that was removed by the sound

I really wanted to like it and bought it based on great reviews. Maybe they're written by people who don't really understand what the clay or this product is supposed to do or how to measure results. Maybe they are written by professionals where time = money. Nanoskin saves time and removes impurities, but not as close as the clay from my test. I would guess 50% if it's from my experiment. Please help someone if I'm missing something. If you're just using this as a laundry item, you might be fine. If you're using this for step 2 in a 5-6 step process (3 cutting, 4 buffing, 5 sealing/waxing, etc.) use IMO clay. You really need to remove "all" contaminants before buffing/polishing your car or they can cause damage, especially if you use DA with cut-off wheels etc (FYI I've been using clay for 20+ years). I tested Nano on half of my hood (2013 Jet Black Toyota 4Runner) and used clay on the other half. Well I could feel dirt/sand on the nano side but the clay side was as smooth as ice. I gave the Nano a second and third try on the same pavement and still felt the dirt. The clay side was like glass after a fast run. Maybe I missed something, but I don't think so. He also likes MUCH more lube than clay. It took almost 3 times more. I use Meguiar's NXT spray if you're interested. I wanted to like it, but I'm sticking with clay for the whole detailing process. FYI: Yes, I prepped the nano as instructed. It was pretty sticky when I started the test.
