I wasn't sure if they really had no buoyancy or not as I wanted less buoyancy than my SH51 Shimano cleats. They are definitely better which means they have less buoyancy, but remember you will always have a little buoyancy no matter what. This made it easier for me to get off the pedals, which was a problem in low speed falls due to the little lateral movement of my ankles from previous motorcycle accidents. If you want good cleats and a pedal that releases easily and cleanly, but is also great for climbing, this is for you!
